YEAR 3
Society, Health and Wellbeing in Adult Nursing, Contemporary Sciences and Humanities in Adult Nursing, Leading in Adult Nursing, Proficient Nursing Practice.

YEAR 4
Society, Health and Wellbeing in Mental Health Practice, Contemporary Sciences for Mental Health Practice, Applied Mental Health Practice, Proficient Nursing Practice.

Entry Requirements

2025 entry requirements:
Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBC including English or another English based subject plus English, Maths (or Applications of Maths) and a science subject at National 5 (if not held at Higher).

Widening access entry: 3-4 Highers at BBC or BCCC including English or another English based subject plus English, Maths and a science subject at National 5 (if not held at Higher).

Applicants will be invited to attend a selection event. This will take the form of a tour of the facilities, an opportunity to meet academics and practitioners, and an interview. The selection process will provide candidates with the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to study at degree level.

Acceptance to all nursing and midwifery courses is subject to a health screening and satisfactory PVG clearance (previously an enhanced disclosure).
