This course will be attractive to individuals interested in a career as a dental nurse or gaining employment as a dental nurse through a Modern Apprenticeship scheme.

You will learn:

Cross Infection Control; Decontamination; Dental Anatomy; Health and Safety.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. Applicants would be expected to demonstrate an interest in working with patients and working within teams. It is also expected that you will have good communication and organisational skills as well as an interest in dentistry.

Progression Routes

Employment as a student dental nurse or possible articulation on to Dental Nursing (Level 5). You may also be considered for the Modern Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing award.
