In this specialist route through the BSc (Hons) Computing and IT (Q62), you’ll gain an understanding of the fundamental principles of communications technologies. You’ll achieve a sound understanding of the principles of hardware and systems-based technologies, and the ability to apply your knowledge and skills in a broad range of industries and organisations. As a Cisco Academy, The Open University offers the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (CCENT and CCNA) curriculum, which provides the knowledge, understanding, and skills needed to configure a LAN/WAN using Cisco equipment.
There are no formal entry requirements to study this degree. Computer and internet access required. If you’re new to study or to the OU, we recommend that you start with a course at Level 1.
