The programme has been designed in partnership with the aerospace industry, and will provide you with the skills required to work effectively in the aircraft design, manufacturing, aerodynamic and structural design and repair and overhaul sectors.

Aircraft engineers are responsible for the safety of thousands of air passengers every year. They play a critical role in the design and certification of an airworthy aircraft in accordance with aviation standards.

Designed in partnership with aerospace industry employers, this course includes visits to organisations such as Spirit AeroSystems and British Airways. A number of final year projects are also undertaken in collaboration with industry.

The accredited MEng (Hons) Aircraft Engineering fully meets the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements, for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
