HNC Computing is one of SQA’s longest established and one of the most popular National awards. It covers a wide range of computing subject areas and it allows you to progress further towards the HND qualifications in Computing Science, Networking, Software Engineering, or Technical Support

Students on this course have the added opportunity to acquire further vendor qualification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA A+ and Microsoft MCITP which are all highly desired by employers.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher and 1 subject at National 5 in a relevant subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6; interview

Selection will be by interview (where required), references and qualifications.
