Content

An excellent programme that offers routes into a range of degree programmes, employment and vocational training. The HNC/D focuses on the systematic study of people and society. It also aims to develop transferable skills including communication, analytical ability and the handling of complex information.

You will study: Sociology; Psychology; History; Research methodology; Politics.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including English and a relevant subject plus 2 subjects at National 5; or Foundation Apprenticeship Social Services and Healthcare or Children and Young People plus Higher English at A or B; or Advanced Certificate: Pathway to Social Sciences; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
