Content

Moving On could be the right course for you if you are facing a challenging transition and would benefit from learning in a small, supported class. The course is aimed at 15–17-year-olds who may have faced challenges at school. Applicants may have had a poor attendance record and need an enhanced transition period before moving into further learning. This is a well-supported course with a Student Development Worker and is based in one area of the college.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, however you must be willing to work in a group and want to develop your personal and social skills. A link course is offered to interested students in January, so you may be able to attend a session before you start your full-time programme. Please contact the college to discuss entry to this programme.

You must be able to travel independently or make your own arrangements for travel.

Progression Routes

Upon completion, you may be able to move on to further study at Perth College UHI, in particular Next Steps 2 Learning, or on to further training or work.
