This course gives you plenty of hands-on experience and a firm grounding across a range of civil and environmental engineering applications. Build your CV with a 12-week work placement and learning in multi-disciplinary teams, just like the workplace.

In year two there's a team-based construction project. This is where you get to plan, project manage and construct scaled-down versions of real world structures such as bridges or wind turbine footings.

The BEng (Hons) / MEng Civil and Environmental Engineering is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Institute of Highway Engineers.

Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBC including a maths based subject.
Widening access entry: 3 Highers at BBC including a maths based subject.

Entry to year 2 is available with 3 Advanced Highers at BBB including 2 maths based subjects.
