Depending on your skills, preferences and our business needs, you’ll have the opportunity to progress along the following career routes as part of the ScottishPower Apprenticeship Programme:
Maths and a science subject at least to National 5 plus English at National 4.
You’ll also need to be a highly-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You should also be a good problem solver and confident decision maker.
During the apprenticeship, successful candidates will attend college to study towards a certificate in Electrical Power Engineering. You will also work towards an onsite Level 2 Diploma in a specific occupation such as electrical Jointer. This is combined with technical training, which will be carried out at our training centre.
On successful completion of the Scottish Power Apprenticeship Programme, it’s likely that you’ll be offered a role in Scotland, England or Wales.
