Before you start - part 1

Screening interview
Screening interviews are popular with large companies in the initial stages of their recruitment process. They allow employers to filter out large numbers of candidates in a short amount of time.
In a nutshell, screening interviews:
- can be conducted by phone or video
- include strength-based questions, such as ‘Why are you suitable for the job?’
- include competency-based questions, such as ‘Describe a situation when you delivered good customer service.’
It is a good idea to complete the competency-based and strengths-based interviews before attempting this one – you will learn how to best answer the different types of questions.
