Content

Education and training within the workplace are central to allied health professional, health and social care roles. The requirements in the education of the staff team, students and prospective students, service users and carers is increasingly recognised as core to everyone’s role.

The PDA is designed to enhance career frameworks by developing an educational pathway that further develops opportunities for all health and social care workers to develop their skills as educators and enhance the quality of the workplace learning environment.

Assessment is continuous, with a mix of practical and theoretical assessments.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must be employed within health or social care and be involved within the education, training or development of others and have a relevant national qualification at SCQF Level 7.
