Langside Campus


The first year of the course offers a diploma qualification as a second-year undergraduate, which is delivered at Langside campus. You will be introduced to the university and will participate in partnerships, teaching and learning at the university campus.

If you successfully complete the diploma, you can move directly to the third year of the BA programme at the University of Strathclyde, where you will continue your studies to complete the BA Education and Social Services. The university also offer an Honours year for this programme.

Content: Professional and Personal Development; Societal Context and Policy; Integration of Services; Understanding and Meeting Needs; Understanding and Developing Practice; Work Practice Placement.

Entry Requirements

Relevant HNC or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 7. Academic reference and interview.

All qualifications must have been achieved in the previous five years.
