Content

Few other courses in the UK offer the level of practical experience in archaeology that we do so, if you’re looking to acquire skills to work in this field, our brand new BA (Hons) Archaeology degree is for you.

This archaeology degree is distinctive in that we place great emphasis on you acquiring the practical skills you need (fieldwork, surveying and post excavation). We ensure that these skills are mapped to current occupational standards in archaeology.

It is also unique in that the course is closely linked to the distinctive cultural heritage of the Highlands and Islands as well as wider Scotland. Here you will unearth great archaeological facts about the areas in which you live.
