This degree looks at Gaelic society and its origins, whilst ensuring you achieve a high standard of fluency in the language. In year four, you will have the opportunity of an exchange with Irish or Canadian universities, allowing you to explore the wider international context to which Gaelic Scotland belongs.

The skills you acquire on the course will make you ideally placed to take advantage of the many new job opportunities appearing in the Gaelic world today.

Entry Requirements

3 Highers at BBC, preferably including Gaelic at B. You will be required to attend an interview to assess your Gaelic language skills.
