You'll learn about hand and nail conditions which will then be applied as you prepare for and perform a manicure safely and effectively.
The course has practical elements where you'll learn how to safely and effectively perform a manicure treatment. You'll also learn relevant underpinning knowledge about nail and hand conditions and the structure of the nail
You must be able to commit to 12 weeks of learning and assessment. You'll be required to bring in clients to practice on and to be assessed on.
In addition, you're expected to study/practice at home for approximately 2 hours per night, to ensure that you know all theory required and practice your skills.

You can study various other related part time Beauty courses including NQ Unit Manicure and NQ Unit Acrylic Nails. If you've also completed the NQ Unit Manicure or NQ Unit Acrylic Nails you can progress to the HN Unit Artificial Nail Extensions
