Content

Core units include:
Hairdressing: creative design in haircutting, Principles and practices of selling, Communication: practical skills, CAD: graphic design, Employment experience, Hairdressing: graded unit 1,
Hairdressing: colouring, colour correction and innovative design.

Optional units (selected by the College) include:
Training skills, Long hair design, Specialised treatments of hair and scalp, Contribute to the organisation, Presentation of a promotional activity.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of 1 Higher preferred; Hairdressing (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Relevant experience required. You also need excellent communication skills. Entry is based on successful interview and skills test.
