The mandatory units are:
Preparing Financial Accounting Information; Preparing Management Accounting Information; Analysing Accounting Information; Handling Wages and Salaries; Computer Applications: Accounting; Recording Credit Transactions; Developing Skills for Employment; IT Solutions for Administrators.
Other units full-time students will study to bring their total credits up to 16 are:
Maintaining Costing Systems; Preparing Final Accounts; Consumer Protection Legislation in Scotland; Communication; Recording Cash Transactions; Recording Data in the Ledger; Spreadsheets for Administrators; Personal Finance Awareness; Financial Services: An Introduction.
You'll be assessed continuously throughout this course with the assessments taking the form of practical assessments, assignment and case studies. There is no final examination.
You'll undertake a programme of guidance activities designed to help you make the most of your qualification and college experience.
1 relevant subject at National 5 plus 2 at National 4 or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5. You may be invited to attend an interview.
