The course covers the 17th edition of the IEE (Institution of Electrical Engineers) Wiring Regulations, which came into force in June 2008.

The course is delivered over six evenings, with the exam on the seventh evening.

Successful completion of the course gives students the knowledge required for the electrical industry and for an update on the SJIB (Scottish Joint Industry Board) grade card.
