The course has a central focus of building a strong portfolio. This will consist of a full range of creative subjects in order to encourage experimentation, knowledge and skills, as well as an impressive portfolio. You will also be taught skills such as time management and professional studio practice.
The areas covered will include Observational and Development Drawing, Life Drawing; Painting across a variety of Media, Ceramics and Printmaking and a self-directed project with an opportunity to specialise in chosen media and technologies. The course content is subject to change.
HNC Art and Design (15 credits). A portfolio of work must be shown at interview.
2nd or 3rd year entry degree level study
