This course offers a fantastic introduction to the exciting world of media. Designed to be engaging and relevant to your interests, it aims to equip you with a diverse set of skills and knowledge in both the practical and theoretical aspects of media.

Throughout this course, you will dive into hands-on activities, such as photography, basic web development, video production, and radio interviewing and podcasting. These skills will not only make you media-savvy but also open up exciting career and progression possibilities. You'll also learn to analyse and create media content, understanding how messages are crafted and delivered to the public.

Introduction to the Media Industry; Video Production ; Radio Production/Podcasting; Media Analysis; Social media; Photography; Basic Web Development.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including English; or NQ Access to Creative Industries; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5.
