Graphic designers and visual communicators work creatively to convey a message or to enhance the user and/or consumer experience, sometimes with words as well but often not. Whether it is graphic design for online info-graphics, digital advertising or more traditional mediums such as magazines, books, posters, web-pages, packaging etc., creativity, design skills and imagination are essential to help ‘sell the message’.

You will study: Digital imaging; Creative project; Photography; Creative industries; Typography; Graphic design; Mixed media; Creative process; Web design; Design production; Typography project; Graphic design project; Mixed media.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher; Art and Design or Design and Manufacture preferred; or NC Photography; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and portfolio of work.
