Content

Creating web and mobile applications requires skilful planning and management, coupled with extensive knowledge of digital media asset creation technologies and software development skills.

You will work collaboratively with your classmates to develop your project management skills and improve your technical and software abilities to develop responsive web and mobile based applications whilst being supported by skilled and experienced mentors.

You will learn how to develop Rich Internet Applications (RIA) using HTML5 and jQuery, undertake database design using Structured Query Language (SQL), explore server and client side scripting using Java and PHP, and develop web apps using Android.

This degree course is delivered at Fife College in partnership with Abertay University and successful students will graduate with a degree awarded by Abertay University.

Entry Requirements

HND Web Development, (incorporating Mobile Applications Development); or HND Computing: Software Development; or other relevant HND. Interview.
