This course is for students whose first language is not English and are seeking or already in employment who wish to gain further skills and a recognised qualification.

In this course you will have the opportunity to develop skills in:
Language; Employability; Citizenship.

Course content includes:
ESOL: Speaking for Employability; ESOL: Listening for Employability; ESOL: Writing for Employability; ESOL: Reading for Employability; ESOL: Living in Scotland; Preparing to Work; Working with Others; Local Investigations; Assist with an Event; Contributing to Sustainability in the Community; Business Practices in Travel and Tourism; Core Skills: Information and Communication Technology; Learning Development Worker Workshop.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements, ESOL at SCQF Level 3 or equivalent recommended. Entry is at the discretion of the centre and by interview.

Progression Routes

Employment or progression to study at NC or HN level.
