You will explore what youth work is, the principles that guide this work and the current issues that are affecting young people. You will understand the qualities and skills required of a youth worker including legislative duties; ethical dilemmas and how to make a positive impact for young people.

Your class will be a discursive and participative experience.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English preferred; or experience working with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity.
