East End Campus
This course includes underpinning knowledge, practical skills and experience for learners aspiring to secure a Modern Apprenticeship in the following Building Services areas:
Refrigeration installation and maintenance; Air Conditioning installation and maintenance; Industrial heating installation; Electrical installation; Ventilation and ductwork installation.
This is a workshop-based course, and all PPE will be supplied to all successful candidates.
Even though the course has several theoretical units, practical projects, and tasks associated with what would be included in an apprenticeship programme; most of the candidate’s time will be in the workshop environment.
This process is to ensure that progression from the course into an apprenticeship programme or NC Building Services course is simplified. Learners will gain underpinning knowledge of building services fundamentals and associated principles and will be well prepared for potential work in the Building Services areas shown in the course overview.
No formal entry requirements. Aptitude test.
