Environmental Scientists must overcome these challenges through creative, innovative and more sustainable solutions to local and global challenges. By drawing on a variety of core scientific fields such as Biology, Chemistry and Earth Systems and their underpinning for Policy and Regulation and addressing fundamental principles of Sustainability. You will gain a deep understanding of the environmental challenges facing the world today, and be able to identify potential threats to our worlds environment. This programme will allow students to advance knowledge and strategies for a sustainable future.
Through this degree programme you will receive a general grounding in biological and chemical and earth system disciplines to build knowledge and understanding of fundamental environmental systems before progressing to study more specialised and advanced topics, focused on applied environmental governance and sustainability.
