Are you interested in working in early years, primary education, secondary education or community and youth work? This exciting course will give you the basic qualifications to progress to an HNC/D in a variety of different education-related sectors. If you have existing qualifications that would allow you to apply to an undergraduate degree, we can also support your UCAS application.

You will study Higher English and National 5 Applications of Maths while learning some key skills needed to be an effective educator.

You will gain skills in sports coaching, Spanish and/or British Sign Language to support you in developing your learners' linguistic skills. You will also learn basic theories of teaching and learning.
