Science represents an important and growing sector, offering huge amounts of employment opportunities across biotechnology, chemical industries, environmental protection and natural heritage.

Among local opportunities there is an increasing demand for technicians in distilleries and other food and drink businesses. This course is ideal as an introduction to science and provides both academic and practical based learning. You will gain knowledge and skills across various science topics such as biology chemistry, human body, forensics, environmental science to progress further through education or enter employment in a lab setting.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.
