This Pre Apprenticeship Plumbing Installation course will give you the essential knowledge and skills required for progression towards the plumbing industry. As a result we work with a number of employers who recruit directly from this exciting course.

Content:
Health and safety in building services; Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering; Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing; Common plumbing processes: cold water systems / domestic hot water systems; Sanitation; Central heating systems; Drainage systems; How to communicate with others within building services engineering.

Entry Requirements

National 4 Design and Manufacture or Practical Woodworking or Metalworking or SfW Construction Crafts, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.

Progression Routes

Modern Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation (SVQ at SCQF Level 7). HNC Electrical Engineering.
