The NQ Introduction to Broadcasting and Film course is mainly a practical, skills-based course offering the opportunities to work as part of a production team creating television documentaries, dramas, music videos and adverts. This course gives you a platform to start your career in the creative industries. It focuses on the essential skills necessary to work in the TV and film industries. These include pre-production, camera operation, sound recording, lighting and editing.

Content:
You will learn the basics in the production of short films and the development of technical skills, including:
Lighting, sound recording and basic camera skills; You will learn to produce production paperwork needed for film productions; Scripting; Editing.


You will also focus on Soft Skills and etiquette that are essential within the creative industry.
