This is year 2 of a 2 year part-time programme aimed at those who wish to gain employment as an early learning and childcare practitioner. Students who have completed year one will continue attending college on a Tuesday and Thursday evening and their day-time placement. Successful completion of this course provides the necessary qualifications for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council at practitioner level.

Care in Contemporary Society; Leadership Starts with Me; Health Wellbeing and Safeguarding; Lifespan Development Theoretical Approaches; Support for Play Learning and Development; Promoting Language, Literacy and Numeracy; Supporting Children and Young Peoples Behaviour; Working with Children 3-6
