This course includes a placement in a health or social care setting subject to a satisfactory PVG check.

Units include:
Communicate with and complete records for individuals; Support the health and safety of yourself and individuals; Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and well-being of individuals; Develop your knowledge and practice; Plus 2 suitable optional units.

Entry Requirements

Some practical experience in a care environment preferred and one satisfactory reference. Entry subject to interview and entry test.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
