Do you want to work with people from all walks of life? Do you want to work in the social care sector? Do you already have a good level of English? ESOL Gateway to Social Care could be the course for you.

Designed for students moving from ESOL study into mainstream college courses, ESOL Gateway to Social Care aims to improve your confidence levels, to help you get key qualifications, to give you access to career guidance and employment opportunities and to highlight future learning opportunities at the College.

Please note: this is not an ESOL Programme.

Entry Requirements

National 4 ESOL (minimum 2 units achieved), or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview. You may be required to do an assessment to ensure you are offered a class at the correct level.

Progression Routes

You may progress to Social Care courses at Glasgow Clyde College.
