This course allows candidates to develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the supervisory of food and beverage/front of house areas. This qualification covers all aspects of food and beverage service supervision including bar, restaurant and events. It will ensure they have a thorough understanding of the role and expectations that any future employer will expect.

Units include:
Principles of supervising food and beverage services including Gueridon service, cocktails, wines and barista skills; Principles of food safety supervision for catering; Principles of promoting food and beverage services and products; Legislation in food and beverage service.

Entry Requirements

NC Hospitality; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5
