This new National 5 qualification is designed to develop cake-baking and cake finishing skills, creativity in cake finishing, and a range of production methods. Students embed food safety and hygiene skills and develop organisational skills in the context of managing time and resources.

Course content includes:

Cake baking; Cake finishing; External assessment.
