This sport and fitness course is designed to prepare you for entry to the industry at a basic level or as preparation for studying a sport- or fitness-related course at Level 6.
Units include: Human Anatomy and Physiology; Sports such as Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Football, Rugby, Hockey and Table Tennis (including NGB Coaching awards where appropriate); Developing Leadership within Physical Activities; Developing Cardio Fitness; Core Skills Communication (Intermediate 2); Fitness Programmes; Resistance Training; Circuit Training.
3 subjects at National 4 preferably including English or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview and pre-entry test.
Further study at SCQF Level 6.
