This course is aimed at those who want to develop their understanding and knowledge of bookkeeping. It provides a natural progression route for those who have completed AAT Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping and/or AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping, or have previous experience in bookkeeping.

This qualification consists of three units each with an assessment. It provides a more in-depth understanding of double-entry bookkeeping as well as additional units in spreadsheets software and professional ethics. The three units covered are: Advanced bookkeeping; Final accounts preparation; and Indirect tax.

Entry Requirements

There are no set prerequisites for the study of the AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping. However, for the best chance of success, we recommend that you begin your studies with a good standard of English and maths.
