Working in a Social Care setting can provide a rewarding career choice. This course develops specialist knowledge, understanding and skills required to provide high quality support for a wide range of adults and young people. It provides opportunities to gain the formal qualifications needed to progress to HNC Social Services.

Care Values; Human Development; Social Influences; Mental Health; Crime; Protection and Safeguarding; Communication; Numeracy; Information and Communication Technology.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including English and Maths, or NC Child, Health and Social Care, or other relevant national qualification at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
