The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Certificate in Human Resource Practice (CHRP) provides a firm foundation in all areas of HR. It will help you develop essential HR skills and give you the confidence to be more effective at work and add value to your HR Function. This course replaces the old Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP). The course is equivalent to SCQF Level 6 and on completion students will automatically be awarded Associate professional level of membership (Assoc CIPD).

Fees include course textbook provision and online resources (Emerald Database). In addition, CIPD membership is a requirement. Students pay this cost directly to CIPD.

Understanding Organisations and the Role of HR (Core); Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information (Core); Developing Yourself as an Effective HR or L&D Practitioner (Core); Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management; Delivering Learning and Development Activities; Resourcing Talent.
