This course is for those who have completed the HNC Administration and Information Technology qualification and would like to progress onto HND Administration and Information Technology.
Office Management; Human Resources and Employment Law; Advanced IT (word processing, databases, spreadsheets); Information and Communication Technology in Business; Developing the Individual within a Team; Work Experience (subject to availability); Presentation Skills; Graded Unit Exam and Project.
Possible non-core units include: Customer Care, Economics, Business Statistics, Business Start-Up, and Marketing.
Relevant HNC. Interview.
You may move on to the second or third year of a degree at any of the following: Glasgow Caledonian University, University of the West of Scotland, Aberdeen Robert Gordon, Strathclyde University, Heriot Watt University, Stirling University and a number of others throughout the UK. You can also move on to University of Glasgow Honours Degree in Rural Business Management.
