Argyll College UHI is a partner college of the University of the Highlands and Islands and offers people in this area access to a range of further and higher education courses.
There are a number of centres, with ten main, manned centres at: Arran, Campbeltown, CERC (Lochgilphead), Dunoon, Helensburgh, Islay, Lochgilphead, Oban, Rothesay, and Tobermory with around 1,600 students.
Courses and subjects
Courses are available at all levels from National Certificate (NC) and Higher National Certificate (HNC) to degree and postgraduate. Industry and vocational qualifications are also on offer.
Subject areas taught at the college include: Beauty, Care and Make-Up; Business and Computing; Catering and Hospitality; Creative Industries; Education; Health and Social Care; Humanities; Landbased Industries; Science, Technology, Engineering and Construction; and Sport, Fitness and Maritime.
Facilities and services
Each centre has computers, high speed internet access, video conferencing facilities and study areas available to students.
