This course seeks to provide all students with an advanced knowledge within five key modules including: technique, performance and academic studies. It includes seminar presentations, portfolio building, facilitation, unique opportunities to take choreographic work to full staged productions and opportunities to take part in specialist workshops led by professional dance artists.
This programme seeks to provide a learning environment that is challenging, creative and supportive. Learners will be encouraged to take responsibility for their own work and self-management, developing autonomy and preparation for the profession.
HND Contemporary Dance Performance, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 8. Interview and practical audition.
Entry to the profession as a contemporary dancer/choreographer.
