Like the HNC, the HND course’s content reflects Creative Skillset’s National Occupational Standards. This advanced, hands-on course gives you opportunities to create and direct more challenging and complex productions These will provide you with opportunities to develop advanced camera, sound recording, lighting and editing skills, as well as scriptwriting and sound post-production techniques. You will be taught by industry-experienced staff, and additional workshops from industry professionals enrich the course further.

Subjects studied include:
Advanced location camerawork; Lighting; Sound recording; Audio recording; Post production; Advanced editing; Researching for TV; Multi camera studio production; Scriptwriting.

Entry Requirements

HNC Creative Industries: Television. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

A degree level course in television and broadcasting; often gaining entry directly into year 3.
