If you have the right skills, then the food and hospitality industry can provide you with excellent rewards. To be part of this growth area you will need the right training, and that's where our experienced and professional teaching and assessment staff can help.

This course provides you with a general introduction to food and hospitality so you can decide if this fast-paced but rewarding work is right for you. We work closely with The Gleneagles Hotel on the content of course to make sure it gives you the skills that employers need.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 3 including English and Maths, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 3. You will also be invited to attend an interview and practical skills test.

Progression Routes

You may progress onto the SVQ Professional Chef Silver Award at SCQF Level 5 or SVQ Professional Hospitality at SCQF Level 5 Silver Award at Perth College UHI
