This professional development award has been designed to allow students to develop complex craft specific knowledge and skills through specialised study in carpentry and joinery.

Successful completion of the course will allow the students to progress to supervisory, management and technician level or to consider studying at HNC Construction level.

Core modules may include:
Complex Pitched Roof Construction; Specialist Doors; Complex Timber Stair Construction; Workshop and Site Setting Out; Sustainable Technology; Technical Communications

Option modules may include:
Windows and Screens; High Class Finishings; Complex In-Situ Timber Formwork; Purpose-made Fitment Construction
