This flexible work-based qualification which is accredited by SQA, aims to develop the candidate’s knowledge, understanding and skills required to work successfully with the older adult. Course material will be covered in the workplace through practise, observation and the creation of a portfolio. Additional time will be spent with open learning materials while receiving support from your tutor/assessor.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 or 5 including English or SVQ Health and Social Care (Adults) at SCQF Level 6. You must be in full time employment working with older adults.
