The NEBOSH General Certificate is a basic qualification in occupational safety and health which is intended for managers, supervisors, safety representatives and a wide range of other people whose jobs include part-time responsibility for, or involvement in, the safety and health of others. It is also an appropriate first qualification for those who are new to health and safety and intend to specialise in the field (including people appointed as safety officers with no previous formal training in the subject).
The course combines practical hands on risk assessing in a workshop environment with classroom based underpinning knowledge.

Health and Safety Management; Control of Workplace Hazards; Practical Risk Assessment.
