Year 1 - HNC
Human anatomy and physiology for beauty and complementary therapists; Body massage; Complementary Therapy: professional issues in practice; Complementary Therapy: health and safety legislation; Perspectives of health; Complementary Therapies: clinic practice; Complementary Therapies: Graded Unit 1.

Optional subjects include: Reflexology; Aromatherapy massage; Traditional head massage; Research and Methodology.

Year 2 - HND
Complementary Therapies: stress management for clients; Human pathological processes; Lifestyle advice for clients; Complementary Therapies: integration in health care services; Complementary Therapies: Graded Unit 2.

Optional subjects include: Remedial massage; Reflexology: advanced; Aromatherapy: advanced; Traditional head massage; Instructing on infant massage; Seated massage therapy; Manual lymphatic drainage; Aromatherapy chemistry; Botanical science for aromatherapy; Marketing skills for the entrepreneur; Personal development planning.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers, preferably English, Biology or Chemistry. Prospective students without the standard entry requirements are also encouraged to apply.
