Barbering Level 2 is an innovative one-year course covering the skills required to enter and work in the barbering industry. You will gain essential practical experience working on clients in our professional salon environment as well as attend theory classes and complete written work and e-assessments. You will be provided with up to date training in new technology and techniques using professional products. This award is recognised within the industry as qualifying you as a barber. Upon completion, you can progress on to further study at a higher level in order to enhance your barbering skills even further.

Course includes:
Advise and Consult with Clients; Shampoo and Condition Hair; Dry and Finish Hair; Cutting Hair and Facial Hair; Team Work; Create Basic Outlines.

Entry Requirements

Hairdressing and Barbering (Level 1), or working as a junior in the industry. You will be invited for interview which will include a practical trade test and written task.

Progression Routes

Successful candidates will be able to move into employment within the barbering industry.
