Year 2:
Arboriculture and urban forestry: Graded Unit 2; Establishment of woodland; Forestry and other land use; Forestry: forest design; Forestry: forest policy and law; Forestry: woodland ecology; Job costing and business calculations; Getting started in business; Managing sites for biodiversity.
Option units may include:
Forestry Operations: work programming; Forestry: software applications.
2 Highers, or 1 Higher at B plus 4 subjects at National 5 at B.
A driving licence is a prerequisite for the optional placement year (between the HNC and HND).
